Sizzling Yee Mee minus the sizzling pan

Yup..you heard that right..I made yee mee last night since there is no restaurant/gerai that sell that stuff around my house..If ada pon non halal..so I surf internet and got the recipe..The best yee mee I tasted so far is at Jusco Maluri food court.yummy!! but my version was not bad - at least to mr.h tastebud hehehe..But seriously, made them was not that hard. It was simple and the ingredients not so hard to find...It simple as ABC..really...u should try it sometimes...

bahan bahan:
  • yee mee
  • 2 cawan air
  • 2 ulas bawang putih
  • 6 biji cendawan shitake (i used the fresh one)
  • 1 keping dada ayam- potong mengikut citarasa
  • 4 biji cili kering- potong 2
  • 2 sudu besar sos tiram
  • 3 sudu besar kicap cair
  • 1/2 in halia- hiris nipi/tumbuk
  • Serbuk lada hitam
  • garam- secukup rasa
  • 1/2 Kiub ayam
  • 1 sudu besar tepung jagung- dibancuh dgn sedikit air
  • sedikit minyak utk menumis(I used corn oil)
  • vegetables -boleh guna apa2 je yg disukai :)

Steps:

1. Tumis bawang putih, cili kering dan halia sehingga naik baunya.
2.Masukkan ayam yg telah potong sehingga agak empuk.
3.Masukkan 2 cawan air
4.Masukkan pula sos tiram, kicap cair dan masukkan pula serbuk lada hitam. Biarkan mendidih.
5.masukkan cendawan serta sayur2 lain- tunggu 2-3 min.
6.Masukkan campuran tepung jagung dan kacau.
7. Agak2 ah pekat bleh la hidang panas2,, yummy..

  1. Wallaweihh, hebatnya....suami saya suka makan sizzling2 nih. tp sy tak pernah terfikir nak buat sbb, sy tak suka mkn ini. Kuikuikui... klu kami gi JJ ke, mmg dia akan oder mknn ini. Sy plak mmg hantu nasi, jd mkn nasi je lah. kesian kat ncik suami sy kan?

    Tp, mana tau satu hr nanti terbukak hati nak try masak sizzling yee mee nih, bulehlah buat. resepi awk nih ada, senang! :-) TQ babe~

    p/s: mende nih mkn panas2 baru feel kan?

  2. tryla babe..senang bangat!! mende alah ni mmg kena mkn panas2 baru sedap. kalau x mee dia kembang sbb serap kuahnye..nanti tekak pon kembang..jgn lupa mkn dgn cili padi potong...baru terangkat!! yummy!! hehehe..
